Airlines that sell branded fares expose them per offer. Check offer.hasFareBrands first. When it’s false, skip this whole step and use the base fare.
1

List the brands

Call fare-brands with the requestId and the offer’s offerId. Each brand in leavingFareOptions has a title, a total price, a list of services, and a code. That code is the brand key. Its format is airline-specific, so treat it as opaque.HTTP 404 FARE_BRANDS_NOT_AVAILABLE means the airline has none for this offer. Carry on with the base fare.
2

Apply the chosen brand

Call change-options with the brand’s code in fareBrandCode. You get back a re-priced offer whose appliedFareBrand echoes the code.
3

Create the order

Create the order with the offerId from change-options. The brand is already stored on that offer, so nothing else is sent.

Round trips

  • isCombination = true: outbound and return brands are chosen together. There’s one key for the whole trip, in leavingFareOptions. Use fareBrandCode.
  • Packed round trip with separate leavingFareOptions and returningFareOptions: send leavingFareBrandCode and returningFareBrandCode, both of them.
  • One-way, combined, or packed offers priced as one: use fareBrandCode.
If change-options returns HTTP 409 CHANGE_PROPOSAL_OPTIONS_FAILED, the offer expired. Search again.
